Once I’ve mastered the art of infusing cannabis into unpasteurized local honey successfully, I was in able to experiment in the kitchen and get creative with some of my infusion.
I started to work with ratios of another natural edible goodness, a lightbulb went on and I thought Holy Shit, we make it ourselves. So here I am dreaming of a sweet , sticky syrup hugged by a sweet earthy taste of cannabis such as Space Nuken was up my alley.
Making any infusion can seem daunting especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Most of us need to start somewhere, and I’m lucky that I’m creative and I can think outside the box. Researching my ass off in anything and everything that I’m passionate about has proven to be actually quite beneficial: Not I lunch for myself , yet now I am sharing with all you and giving out samples in hopes to sell it one day, through the legal route. Integrity runs through my blood. I am excited in hopes to one day.
With this infusion I decided to use,
1 cup unpasteurized honey
1/2 cup of maple syrup
7-28 grams of your favourite Cannabis flower material (decarbolated)**
2 tbsps of organic lecithin
2 tsp of Chinese 5 spice
2 tsp if real vanilla extract (infused with cannabis is best)
Add on these ingredients to a slow cooker which holds 2 or 3 liters. One that has a low, high and warm setting. Once all your ingredients have reached temperature where the lesson has melted into the seeet mixture, is when you add your decarbed cannabis.
I used 28 grams, and half a tsp is all I need in my coffee or tea to keep my anxiety at bay.

Place on a cookie sheet or dish of choice. Heat oven to 240* and cook for 25mins and cool. Add material to medium and whisk. Every hour on the hour, take the lid off your slow cooker and mix the material together back-and-forth to help release the medicine from the plant material.
The longer, and slower you can take to make the infusion , the better and stronger the medium will be. Your medicine will last longer and you will make sure you utilized every bit of the plant as possible.
I like to give it 4 to 6 hours. If I’m in a rush and busy that day I am plug the slow cooker and will you plug it in when I get home that evening or the next day if I have time and redo the process before I strain it and press the sweet sticky goodness you get to enjoy .
Make sure you have a fine mesh sieve, as well as cheesecloth will work. The mixture is hot so be careful you don’t burn your hands. Investing in some plastic gloves , or use your magic butter glove which I sometimes do, the one which cones with th machine. It seems to work like a charm for this recipe.
Now that you have a cup and a half of cannabis infused sweetener, get yourself a few little sample cups and gift your friends something to enjoy with a cuppa tea or coffee.
